Here's my predictions:

boredom, self-congratulation, boredom.

Sorry, but I don't have much respect for the Grammys or awards ceremonies in general.

Still, I'll have a crack at it, although I must say I haven't heard a lot of this stuff, and the impact it has in the States may be quite different to the impact its had here in Oz.

1) Gnarls Barkley St Elsewhere (I'm only picking this because I like it)
2) James Blunt (I'm only picking this because I've never heard of any of the others)
3) 'You're Beautiful' (We agree. Yay!. Have never heard the others)
4) 'Over My Head (cable car)' - The Fray (another agreeable answer)
5) Stadium Arcadium (probably)
6) 'Mighty "O"' (this is just because I like Outkast, but I'm so out of the loop I haven't heard it)
7) "Shake That" (Eminem is cool and Nate Dogg was on 'Regulators' with Warren G. I'm not sure what this means)
8) 'Jesus Take The Wheel' (Never heard any of these, but country songs about Jesus are bitchin')
9) 'Crazy' (Gnarley)
10) 'Ring The Alarm' (Beyonce's cool. I haven't heard this. Is she still cool?)
11) 'Black Sweat' (Prince is past his prime. I hope he proves them wrong)
12) I hope Dylan wins. Or Neil Young. Can I have two predictions?

And that was a testament to how truly out of touch I am.

Hello my sweet Hellvis, so glad you stopped by. Yayyyy! I am happy now!! Let's roll.

1. I battled with Gnarls and Justin.
2,3. You seem pretty dead set on James Blunt, and 'You're Beautiful'. Good choice because he probably will get both. I picked Chris Brown because he won new artist on a couple of other award shows. You probably didn't know that since your in OZ.
4,5 We agree and I believe we will be right. Go Chili Peppers!!!
6. I like Outkast , but I don't think it's going to happen
7. I guess I wanted to 'Smack That' and you wanted to 'Shake That'. Eminem did both!
8. Definitely agree on Jesus taking the wheel
9. Argree with 'Crazy' , right on
10. Yes she is still very cool, and doing some acting also. She has it going on, but not with 'Ring the Alarm'. Mary J is going to walk away with this one.
11. Good call with Prince. He is not past his prime; he is just on a different level.
12. Dylan or Neil will probably get it, but I just like what the Chili Peppers have done this year.

Really glad you stopped. I am ready to start talking muzic again. I will pop into the hotel sometime and visit.

3, 4,& 5. All three of us agree on these answers! This is because we just know it will happen. I feel good about 3 4 5.
6. Ridin' was played alot, and I liked it. So I picked it. Ludacris always has a chance.
7. I like 'Smack That' . It's just a catchy tune. Yayyy! I am glad you picked it. Do you like the song?
8. Amen we have all have Jesus taking the wheel!!!!
9. Another threesome on 'Crazy'. I am liking this threesome!!!
10. I like Beyonce, but Mary J is going to take it.
11 I am a Ne-Yo fan, my favorite is 'Sexy Love'.
12. 'When We Were Young' is my favorite Killers song!!! This category is totally up in the air. They each have a big chance of getting it. This was a hard one for me to pick.
So glad you came to back check out the Muzik Mafia. Be thinking of what you want the post to be about or whatever if you win. You have a good chance. I am anxious to see if we get more predictions. I am diggin this, it's fun.

So glad u stopped by. Geek or or not let's get down to business.
1. I am going with Justin, but I think the Chili Peppers are going to bring some home
2. Wow!!!! You have been the ony one that agrees with me on Chris Brown. I just have a feeling!!!!
3. I don't like country so I didn't go with the Dixie Chicks, but you may be right,
4. We all like ' Over my head". I love it so I hope it wines
5. It's the Chili Peppers year, and I believe we all agred
6.You and Kylie agree on "Georgia". Ludacris might take it down
7. Good for Justin if he gets it , but people want to "Smack That"!!!!!
8. Thank the Lord!!!! So far 'Jesus takes the wheel' is the deal
9. Gnarls Barkly with 'Crazy'. James Blunt will probably get new artist and song of the year. Don't worry sweetie, James Blunt will walk away with some Grammys.
10. Kylie wanted something else to win, but still thought Beyonce would walk away wiht it. Hellvis also picked it. I am going against you all and picking Mary J Blige with "Be without you". I think that is a sure bet.
11. This one is a hard one. We have Prince, Lionel Richie, and Luther. This category is up for grabs. I picked Lionel, but I don't know. Prince and Luther are great too.
12. I love you because you picked 'Chasing Cars'. I love that song, but was a little coward on picking them to win. Good for you Nina!!!!! I picked the Chili Peppers because I just think that this is their year. I would not be let down at all if 'Chasing Cars' got it.

' If I lay here, If i just lay here.'
"Would you lie with me and just forget the world?"
"Forget what we're told'
"Before we get too old"
"Show me a garden that's bursting into life"
Those lyrics rock!!!!!
